Klaus Zanella Schlickmann is a photographer and director of photography based in southern Brazil. He holds a BA in Cinema and Video from UNISUL and an MFA in Photography from Universidade Católica do Porto, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. His work explores visual narratives, the relationship between light and matter, and the contemporary dialogue between analog and digital processes. Klaus has worked on several stop-motion productions with Animaking Studios, independent short films, and documentary projects such as the Schurmann Family’s Orient Expedition. He currently develops personal projects in the form of photobooks and analog prints.
